Membership
As the history page points out, the aims of the club are the preservation and use of historic vehicles. The use of these results in a congenial social atmosphere whether the particular event attended is in the motoring category or a social event where there is not a car in sight.
Apart from the events mentioned on the events page, members receive a monthly "Bulletin" of 4 to 6 A4 pages which details club events to come -- reports on events recently completed and gives coverage to special acheivements by individual members and their cars and contains "snippets" of current information relative to the "old car" scene. Members may also advertise vehicles and spares "for Sale" in the Bulletin.
So ---- what does it cost? At a time when many "one-make" clubs require subscription in excess of £20 the SWTVC is able to flourish with a current fee of only £12 per member.
